Shortcuts on the watch face, for real
A complication should be able to do the thing, not open an app about the thing.

The problem
The Watch is the fastest computer many of us wear, and Shortcuts still often bounce to a spinner or an iPhone. Power users have built entire lives in Shortcuts. The wrist should be able to finish the common ones.
The proposal
Let a complication run a Shortcut that Apple has already determined is wrist-safe: timers, scenes, texts, logging, NFC, Home. Show a compact result, not a full app launch. If the Shortcut needs the phone, say so before the tap.

People who already automate their day and would like their watch to keep up.
